 Tourism
and Adventure in the Falls!
The
adventure starts on a track in the National Park up to the Macuco
Waterfall, a 20m high crystal water fall, which surges in the
vegetation forming a natural pool on the rocks.
The
first 3km of the track are done by electric jeeps, which are
anti-noise and air pollution, therefore preserving the natural
environment. The next 600m are done on foot through the jungle
towards the Macuco waterfall. Throughout the tour bilingual
guides provide the tourists with interesting accounts of the
local fauna and flora.
Once
the tourists arrive on the bank of the Iguassu River, they get
on a rubber dinghy equipped with life jackets, and go upstream
the river along the canyon towards the Falls.
