- CLIMATE: The average temperature during the day:
- Spring 25°.C / Summer 35°C / Autumn 25°C/ Winter 14°C

- CLOTHING: Casual, shorts, t-shirt., sandals or sneakers, but for the winter season we suggest heavy clothes (June, July e August) , due to low temperatures and high humidity in the region.

- ELETRICAL CURRENT: 110V or 220V.

- LANGUAGES: Portuguese and Spanish. The staff in 4 and 5 stars hotels speak English.

- TAXES: In Brazil and Paraguay tax is rarely charged, but in Argentina, especially in hotels like Sheraton, VAT OF 21% is charged.

- AIRPORTS: There are 3 airports in the region:

a) International Airport of Foz do Iguazu (Brazil), 13 km from the Brazilian Falls and 12 km from the town centre of Iguassu Falls.
– There are flights from Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo: companies Varig, Tam, Vasp, Rio-Sul.

b) International Airport of Yguazu (YGR) (Argentina), 8 km from the Argentine Falls and 24 km from the town centre of Foz do Iguazu.
There are flights from Buenos Aires:companies Aerolíneas Argentina e Lapa.

c ) International Airport of Mingá-Guazú (Paraguay): 40 km from Ciudad Del Este and 46 km from the town centre of Foz do Iguazu.
There are flights from São Paulo and Asunción: company Tam.

- CURRENCIES: Brazil (Real), Argentina (Peso Argentino) e Paraguay (Guarani). All the businesses like hotels, bars and restaurants accept dollar, with the exchange rate of the market.

- TIPS: 10% usually.

- TAXI: In Brazil, the cost is charged according to the meters , but in Paraguay and Argentina meters are not used, so we suggest to deal the price with the driver before the ride.
